I’m not really into synthetics.  When it comes to shoes, wallets, belts and other accessories, I settle for only one thing – LEATHER!  But of course one point in my life, when the ever changing fad and fashion interest me, I tried to give myself a shot with some fancy shoes which popularity is on the rise.  Well it had been quite a head turner alright but after a year or so I don’t know but something in its grandeur had somewhat shut the spot lights off.  Thin chips of skin suddenly came off and its beauty compared to the time I was first using it is just way off.  One thing is for sure though — I’ll never go back to that route again.

Small business

I have always wanted to have my own business so I can easily cope up with the demands of being a full-time mother.  But until now I couldn’t make up my mind as to what kind of business I could probably invest my money on. Ideally, I want to start with something small and a few people working for me. Let’s put it this way — I am looking for a small business opportunity.

I’m thinking of putting up my own Mineral Water Station or an Internet Cafe with 5 computers to start with. But I don’t know where and how to start. :-(

I am planning to buy one big sofa for our living room but most of the furniture stores I checked out do not sell the style and color that I prefer. To top it all off, sofas are very expensive nowadays!

I want something as elegant looking as this. But of course, I want the cheap version! Hahaha! This sofa costs $3,549. Wow, super expensive!

Leap Frog Toys

This Little Touch LeapPad Learning System is one of the best educational toys in the market. I’m so glad my brother-in-law bought one for my son when he came home from Saudi Arabia last year. Greggy started using it when he was 1 year old and he really loves playing it. It came with two books: Baby’s First Words which introduces first words, speech patterns and sound-object association and the other one is Guess How Much I Love You which introduces classical music, emotions, sound patterns and rhythms. This toy really helped in his psychomotor development.
I wish to collect all the other books but unfortunately they’re only available in the US. I checked the Leap Frog Website and they’re currently on sale for $3.99 (original price is at $12.99). I tried placing an order but they don’t ship to the Philippines. Too bad!!!

Anyway, I really do recommend this to all parents. Please buy one for your kids too!

One day, we’ll have our own home theater because my husband is a big movie fan. I know it will make him extremely happy if we had one as extravagant as that of a real theater. :-)
